SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop product and category expertise to identify profitable business and sales opportunities for the company
• Develop pricing expertise to support category revenue management and strategy development for various sales channels and customers
• Cultivate strong working relationships with sales, production and suppliers while focusing on strategic business objectives
• Contribute to the development of product lines and brands based on the product portfolio and our various markets and customers
• Analyze the financial impact of product and category development
• Manage the product creation process for private label and national brands
• Drive and manage the product innovation pipeline
• Interact with different departments in the product creation process and act as a collaborative leader
• Interact with suppliers in Canada and internationally to gather information for product creation
• Propose business plans to support customer development
• Develop sales materials to introduce new products and categories
• Ability to analyze and synthesize data from different sources
• Conduct market research based on product category development priorities
• Conduct competitive intelligence
• Manage the evolution of our private label

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or other related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
• Bilingualism in French and English
• Excellent knowledge of the main MS Office software, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of SAP software, an asset
• Knowledge of the food industry
