Responsibilities:

• Work with the machine operator to operate all the machines in the section according to the operational needs of the production department (roasting, spices and falafel, packaging, mixing);
• Perform handling functions such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking various products;
• Participate in product packaging and labelling;
• Handle boxes, pack and unpack products on a table or conveyor;
• Ensure quality control of finished products, perform basic tests and checks: weights, labelling, packaging;
• Clean work areas and equipment and empty waste and packaging;
• Keep spaces and production lines clean;
• Meet quality and production standards;
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment;
• Respect the company's rules, policies and procedures;
• Perform any other related tasks requested by the supervisor according to the section.

Eligibility criteria

• Secondary 5 or equivalent, an asset
• French or English, spoken, read ; intermediate level
• 6 to 12 months of experience in the food environment (asset)
• Know food or pharmaceutical production requirements (BPI)
• Ability to lift loads of 25 kilos
• Focus on quality work
• Rigor and attention to detail
• Punctuality

Work conditions:

• Wage: 16,07$
• Premium: evening shift: 1$ / Hour
