SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents associated with accounts, such as invoices, inventory statements, account statements and other financial statements, using computerized and manual systems;
- Log or computer input, verify and reconcile transactions, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, purchase orders, checks, invoices, check requests and bank statements;
- Compiles budget data and documents from revenue and expense estimates, and previous budgets;
- Prepares cost or periodic reports;
- Calculates material costs, overhead and other expenses from estimates, quotes and price lists;
- Responds to customer inquiries, maintains good rapport with customers and resolves problems;
- Follow up on any discrepancies and communicate with supervisor as appropriate;
- Performs other related clerical duties such as word processing, record keeping and filing, faxing and photocopying.
- Other duties related to accounting, finance and customer service.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or DEC in accounting in progress or similar
- Languages: French and English intermediate
- Good command of the office suite, especially Excel
